BuckShot Dots is a young colt on Spring Creek Ranch, right now he is still too young to be ridden, but ground work has been started with him. Some of the ranch kids have their sights on him becoming a bronco for rodeo as he has the athletics and build for it. He belongs to one of these boys, Layne, and so his fate lies in his hands, likely Layne will train Buck to be a dependable cow horse instead.
