Diana is a resolute and enduring mare. Shes prefers her own company over that of others, but is generally cordial to other animals. Theres some companionship and deep respect between her and a select few other horses who are similarly strong willed. Shes eager to move and loves to roam the vast pastures all day and night long. She knows every nook and cranny of her surroundings and has many different paths which she loves to chase along.

Days may go by without spotting her, not only due to her seeking out remote areas, but also since she prefers the company of the moon to that of the sun. The moons of the place she calls home have a strange hold on her. She appears to find their light not only comforting, but also strenghtening. Its one of the reasons why she was named Diana. She makes for a most beautiful sight when one is lucky enough to spot her in a moonlit night. Then her moves seem even more floating than usual as she performs her very own dance.

The other reason lies in a rather peculiar trait, although nothing about her is ordinary; she tends to hunt down small animals and consumes them. It is more than opportunisim, she seeks those critters out and knows well where to find them.  She doesnt recieve any supplements and rarely eats grain or hay, yet remains the healthiest horse of all. 

She does enjoy going on hacks, walks or long trail rides with a rider. Sometimes even a quick show as she does like to show off just a little from time to time.

Bio:

Only once there was a time when she drew nearer to the open parns and paddock trails. It was when a little, frail filly had appeared there. Diana had been visited by the man who was closest to a handler and he had not been alone. A little, frail filly was at his heel. It refused to leave him even when introduced to numerous possible nurse mares. It didnt approach Diana either. However as time wore on, they developed a closer relationship. While the filly would always leave with the man again, it eventually took to Diana who began to teach it how to even be a horse.

Diana had always been a wild one, living almost on large pastures for most of her younger years. She loved it and would never do well when taken into a barn or smaller pasture. Her owners trained her carefully and did their best to balance her life. However, as she grew older she required more and more space and wanted to choose where to be and who she interacted with, cutting down human interaction to a small portion. It was decided that she needed a differeng fit and her owners searched feverishly until they found her a perfect forever home. She arrived at Blue Moon Ranch and took to the vast pasture provided like a fish to water.

As she settled in and slowly bonded with her new owner, Diana mellowed out a little and began to enjoy and occasionally seek out some form of contact. She loves to be massaged and pampered if the mood for that ever comes around.
