History: Chérie was not intended to be a permanent horse in Ezekiel's barn - but she became one. Ezekiel helped set up the breeding for her on behalf of a new friend in the Loshenka community, as he was trying to further make alliances and friends there. However, his friend ended up backing out of the deal due to unforeseen medical issues (the friend, not the horse) so Ezekiel took Chérie onto his own ranch. The filly became fast friends with his other filly, Holly, given that they were the same age, and when she ended up showing show promise Ezekiel ended up keeping her. Unlike Holly, Chérie was rideable, though she had been bred for show jumping, and Zeke was not competitive in show jumping so he hired another handler, recommended by his mentor, to train and ride the horse on his behalf. Chérie is a sweet mare, though she is quite soft in personality - easily frightened and quick to look towards others for reassurance. She usually follows Holly around like a shadow - the other mare's confidence has not managed to rub off on Chérie yet.
