History: Denim was imported in as a yearling and showed great promise with his conformation, temperament, and intelligence. His flashy coat turns heads and with his natural athleticism and gravitation towards cattle work - Denim was started as a cutting and working cow horse prospect. He shows a talent with his cow sense and the ability to read a cow's body language to determine it's next move.

Denim is a sweetheart of the barn behind Shade. He's very friendly, very willing to work and will do anything asked of him. Denim has the patience of a saint with new riders or those not familiar with his buttons. He's incredibly smart and will pick up new tasks with ease - need to catch 10 head of cows? Denim's loaded. Need a reliable trail horse? Denim's your guy. Want to try a new event at a rodeo? Denim's ready to go. He can be turned out with cattle and other livestock without problems - prefers the company of cattle opposed to solitude. The only quirks/bad habits we've found with Denim is he enjoys being an escape artist - luckily he can always be found trying to help the calves escape.
