Journal Entry 2 - 7/21/25
It has been some time since the last entry, things have been progressing so well I forgot to keep track. Lilly has come so far and continues to amaze us. The symptoms this poor gal came to us with have all practically vanished once a strict scedule and cleaning routine was established. Her temperment has only improved since as well!A young girl - Katie, took charge of Lilly's care and fell in love with the sweet mare. It seems Lilly picked her person, I have seen their bond form and knew they were meant for eachother. Today, with her parents approval, we suprised Katie with ownership papers. Lilly is officially her horse. The two promptly tacked up and went for a ride out by the river but I swear seeing their joy makes the journey worth it.
Watching these beautiful animals grow and flourish under the right care, and seeing people step up to the challenge.
