Bonus Prompt II [That's the Spot]: A Good Friend Makes Everything Easier

After some initial failures, Will felt he could finally sit back and watch Fujiko enjoy time with other horses. He'd tried several combinations, but this one had to be the magic bullet. Looking out over the pasture, he could see Fujiko and Secret still playing with Rouge grazing calmly in the background. 

Secret had been something of a problem child herself, wildly energetic without the sense to channel it into a good outlet. Now, both Fujiko and Secret had a playmate who tolerated the other's energy and games. No, not just tolerated, Will thought, they both actually seemed to enjoy it.

Rouge was a calming presence, with firm boundaries but a playful heart. She joined in with their calmer activities, but stood her ground when the roughhousing got too intense. It seemed that Fujiko was even taking a page out of her book, taking breaks between goofing off with Secret to quietly graze or nap. 

As much as Fujiko was motivated by learning a challenging trick or skill, it seemed that simply matching her with the appropriate herd would be the game-changer. Her intelligence and energetic personality was as bright as ever, but some of the former turbulence  had simmered down to something more focused. 

Maybe she'd even be intergrated into the larger mare herd eventually, Will thought. He smiled as he watched Fujiko chase playfully after her new friend, her tail rippling in the wind, her coat shining. 

With the right training and a good environment, she'll be truly special!
