[Bonus Prompt #1]History of The Lonely Bachelor

In the corner of an old barn sits a bulletin board. The countless memories made over the many years of its operation decorate the wall. One tiny photo in particular shows two horses running carefree in the main pasture. The two had belonged to a wealthy woman who had become ill, and in that state was sent to a nursing home. Her wish was for her horses to be left where they were and be placed in the barn owners care, however the daughter had got a hold of them first and sent them through a sale yard for a quick dollar. Nobody has the heart to take the picture down, so there it sits, a constant reminder of the beautiful pair now separate, and the wounded heart of the barn community of the tragedy that had occured. 

The rescue who had picked up the grey stallion had no information on his past; just an old halter. It barely even fit. 

He was by no means mistreated, just fearful. 

They had no information to give Lacey and Freja on him, just a folder with a picture of a photo board featuring him next to a bay pinto. This, however, roused excitement in Lacey. Her theory was being proven more correct; he had a friend out there. And they could be close.  

If she could only find out where the other one had ended up.. the rescue could not disclose which auction he'd been picked up at, so she began looking at the ones that were near the facility. After her third livestream scroll-through, she finally spotted him. Jumping into the arena loose, just the old black halter on. He skittered around for a moment before being moved through, the fear evident on his face. 

The tag on him said "104-1", and the following horse, a mare, wore "104-2", meaning they came from the same seller. 

She could hardly believe was she was seeing. It was the same horse from the picture. 

This was it. She'd nearly found her.
