Phase 3 || 2025 Loshenka Makeover

After months of struggle and backsliding and frustration, things finally took a turn for the better. Amalthia was a great sport, letting the Perlino work out her issues in her own time. The perlino never seemed grateful, but eventually she stopped lashing out at every horse on the trails - starting with the dominant white horse. Alex's tack had been to lead her, to pony her without weight on her back. And that worked. So after a while, he started adding weights, letting Amalthia continue to pony her. Eventually, he slipped onto the Perlino's back. It was a terrifying moment, to bring her close to the other ridden Loshenka, but she was calm as an evening breeze. Alex was starkly surprised , but extremely grateful that the mare was not freaking out. Both she and Amalthia walked slowly, ambling across the grounds. As they rode, Alex and Gabriel swapped conversation, finally able to relax with the idea that their horses were getting along. Maybe, just maybe, the perlino mare was going to be all right.
