[Bonus Prompt 1] What have we got
It would be Harper's third time taking in a rescue Loshenka and she was looking forward to the horse that would be assigned to her this time. She has made the choice to keep Orestes chemically neutered for the time being so that he could stay together with Phoenix. They found a lot of support in eachother and Harper hoped the new Loshenka would find their place within the slowly expanding herd as well.
It was still early in the morning as she reached the facility in nevada. Eager to get to know her assigned horse she wasted no time and found her way to the front desk. She had volunteered a few times but with multiple horses at home that was no longer an option for her. She greeted the staff she encountered on her way, a few familiar faces asking how her two ex-rescues were doing, and eventually reached the frontdesk. "Hi, I'm here for the makeover, I came to pick up my assigned horse" she greeted, offering a smile to themanager behind the desk, furiously typing away on the keyboard in front of her. "Oh hey, Harper! We missed you this year, how are the Loshies at home doing?" The manager greeted in return. "Phoenix and Orestes are doing fantastic! You wouln't be able to recognize Phoenix as the horse who came in here, I can't believe it's already been three years since. She's a healthy weight now and she has really started to fill out during training. We've been starting to train her a little more seriously and she really seems to have a knack for show jumping. I'm planning to start her in her first show next summer. Orestes is still a work in progress under saddle, but his ground manners have improved massively, there's no need to chase him around the pasture anymore" she laughed. "It did do wonders for my step count though" They caught up a little bit more, exchanging stories of the horses they have worked with in the past year. Harper shared her plans for the future and her hopes that the new makeover horse would click with her two ex-makover horses at home.
"Okay, but let's get back to business, I have another pickup in..." The manager looked at the little clock in the corner of her computerscreen. "20 minutes, okay" she finished, rifling through the stack of clipboards on her desk. "Ah, there he is" she handed the clipboard to Harper, a picture prominent on the front of the stack of papers. The stallion was truly stunning, a splash; just like orestes, with a beautiful pangare chestnut coat peeking from under it. While it's coat was shiny, it was easy to see the conformation of the horse left much to be desired and the vacant look in his eyes told a story all on it's own. "We picked up this boy about a week ago. He was bred as a dressage prospect and has been shown a few times. Very sweet and compliant animal, but as you can see his training left him in a worse shape instead of better. He mainly stands in the corner of his stall, the paddock, anywhere really; looking all sad and depressed. It's truly a sad story. We had him evaluated by a vet ofcourse and he seems healthy and well cared for in all other aspects but his training has left him in quite a state. We have had no time to try him under saddle due to the hectics around here but we did notice that when his halter was pulled he immediately dips his chin to his chest so that might also prove a bit of a challenge. I can't tell you exactly what he has been through as the owner who surrendered him wasn't really forthcoming from what I have heared from Cody, who icked him up, they stated that they got rid of him because he proved to have no talent for dressage so he is useless to them" She gave Harper a look "their words, not mine." She peeked at the clock and to the hallway, where footsteps and voices could be heard. "Seems the next pickup is early. I trust you still know your way around? He is on the aternoon rotation for the paddocks so he should still be in the stables, the report with all additional information and the stall they put him in are on the last sheet. Best of luck with him, seeing the work you have done in the past I am sure you can help this guy to get his spark back" she said with a small wave. "Thank you! See you next time!" Harper waved back, making her way to the indicated stall to pick up her new project.
While making her way around the sanctuary she read the information in the papers. A health report, a statement of transfer to the sanctuary, and the report from the sanctuary of the week he has been here. The information largely aligned with what the manager had briefly explained. It was a stallion, bred from promising parents as a dressage prospect and sold as a 2 year old with potential to a dressage stable a few states over. He was shown in a few youngster cups as a three year old. Quite early, Harper thought. After that, he completely vanished from the scene. He's currently 5 years old, way too young to be in such a shape and dumped. It made Harper a little angry if she was being honest. At pickup the stallion was mostly quiet, he has this persistent vacant look in his eyes and he is very compliant in every ask. The vet cleared him, but his entire musculature is the opposite of desired, being largely undermuscled and what musle he has being asymmetrical. She recommends massages, maybe a chiropractor and loads of proper training to actually engage the muscle group this guy needs, starting on the ground. He has poor balance, but this seems to stem from the same poor training rather than an ailment, so for all intents and purposes this guy was declared healthy.
Harper halted, having reached the stallion's stable.

Bonus Prompt: Report Card: How does the rescue facility or the horse's paperwork describe them?
Horse ID#: 11109
- Issues: Undermuscled, Ewe Neck - Description: This poorly-trained dressage horse has ended up with uneven musculature, bad topline, and an ewe neck. It seems unable to balance itself properly, and it seems to show signs of "rollkur" being used on it, resulting in stiff, robotic movement under saddle.
