Where is the pear tree?
On a leisurely stroll through the small wood the horse made careful steps on the glittering snow, leaving perfect imprints into the impressionable slush. It was just morning and the sun peeked over the treeline to light the way for the horse. The sun left a slight warmth through the cold on its golden fur. Trees held snow on their arms as the winter hugged the evergreens gentry in a reuniting embrace, happy to see each other again. The crisp air caught the horse's warm breath from their nostrils and danced with it.
Then all of a sudden something plopped on the horse's back. The horse hesitated and jerked in reflex a bit but the object seemed light so the horse wasn't too scared. They looked back to their flank expecting maybe some snow that a tree had let slip from it's branch but no. Instead a small partridge clung to the horse's back quite calmly. The partridge looked at the horse with gentle eyes and the horse back at it. Without any grunt whinny or snort the horse simply carried on, partridge sitting snug on their back. They enjoyed the rest of the morning together, walking the fresh snow.
