Silly and goofy
Scorch has this goofy ass habit of picking Azura up or at least trying to, shes gotten used to it now and decided somewhere along the way that its actually fun and some kind of bonding experience. So she didnt try to train him to stop, she gets too heavy for him soon-ish anyways and he puts her back down. Usually somewhere away from where they were though, preferably some slightly inconvenient spot. Sometimes he takes suggestions on where to go to too.
