A Past Tense - Phase 2
6422 was born at a breeding facility for champions, everyone was so excited to get such a gorgeous foal like her. That was of course until they noticed something was wrong, when they had the vet check on her it turned out the beautiful little filly who was born to be a champion was partially blind and deaf. She was a dud in their eyes. Her owners got her weaned as soon as they could, then dumped her in a spare field, she had food, water, and shelter, but it was honestly the mudiest field the poor filly had ever been in. They never ever worked with her, she never had been bathed either so by the time she was rescued her poor coat and tail was plastered with mud. It was managed to get her washed at the rescue but definitely a struggle considering she was never desensitised as a foal and never really interacted with.

They’re well beyond foalhood, and have started to become more and more troublesome at the barn due to lack of stimulation. To make matters worse, they’re extremely sensitive to touch and easy to startle, so it can be hard to teach them new things without causing anxiety.
