[Gift] Drawlloween [Short story 6] - Swamp Monster

But then I see it....

"CHARLES RUUNN!!!" I scream as loud as I can. "COME ON!!!"

"But Bob!!" "FUCK BOB....THERES SOMETHING BEHIND YOU!!"

At the other end of the pond slowly a creature comes up. It gets bigger and bigger and looks terrifying with all the mud on it. Charles looks behind him and screams out in panic as he sees it as well. He tries to get up but it's so slippery that he just wobbles around like a first-time ice skater. The creature starts moving towards him and I realize I have to help or he'll be swamp monster breakfast. Ew.

I jump in and work my way through to him and push his slimy body towards the edge of the pond. A growl comes from behind and I realize how close it actually is. My heart is racing and I shove my head under Charles humongous ass to get the last bit of him out of here. Something grabs my tail and I kick out; my hooves hit something soft and it feels disgustingly mushy. I'm almost out but it's difficult to get up at this edge of the pond.

Charles wants to help, but the only thing he can grab is my bottom lip. He bites and pulls me out on it-

I finally have proper ground under my feet again and we run as fast as we can, as far away as we can. After a bit we slow down and hide behind a bush; panting and exhausted. For a moment we just stand and try to process what happened.

"Wtf was that?!?" "I think a monster!" "NO I MEAN THE LIP PULLING THING!!" "...well, I had to save you, no?!?" he pouted.

"No one will know about this, understood?!" "Oki.....ouh also! Look what I found! :D"He holds his foot up with Bob the rubber ducky stuck in his horseshoe. "He's been here the whole time! :D"

I sigh and contemplate life.
