Happy Ghosts
Stepping out of the lit up field, made me realize immediatly that we were nowhere near home. It had to be some unreal.. dream experience or something. "This can't be real" agreed Astoria, standing at the edge of the weird white and orange colored forest. I nod slowly, looking over to Khaos, who stood there very tense, turning his ears around, listening and watching the whole surroundings. "Uh huh, I assume that means you guys actually do not know where the hell we are and how we can get back home?" Namir said, dryly, looking at Müsli, Me and Arctic, in hopes that those will say something more hope-inducing. I just shake my head. Arctic answers "No, we seemed to take the wrong turn." He said, looking around excitedly at us, expecting us to laugh. Müsli murmers something about regret and home and comfortable straw. "We would all love to be home." I begin. "But we need to start doing something to get back home. There is something wrong here, that forest isn't ours. So I think we should cross those fields, to then see where it's leading us." Khaos seemed to agree to me, sniffing the ground like a little dog following a scented path home. Astoria nods, and Arctic agrees as well. "Why don't we just.. go back?! We came from there!!" Namir exclaimed, not convinced in any way by my Idea. The last person I expected to have an Opinion on this topic spoke up, Müsli. "I would love not going back into this creepy misty forest. Over there it looks nice, calm!! Nothing... can hide.. nowhere! No one can suprise u..." he stopped apruptly, because looking over, there were two ghosts jumping around, who seemed to just be materialized out of nothing. They played and laughed with it each other, one was a very fluffy, chestnut mare, with her long strands of hair flying around her in the moon lit night, and the other a slightly... well fed mare with a very very dark head. They were laughing loudly, bucking and jumping while running towards the little group of 6 at the edge of the forest. I rise my head, stepping together with Khaos in front of the others. "Who are you?" I yell over, with the two ghosts stopping in their step. "Us?" Asked the chestnut mare, flinging her mane over to the other side. The other one just laughed, shaking and then jumping more towards us. "Yes you?" Arctic asked quite shocked, with Astoria looking at them like she seen ghosts.. well... those translucent horses with barely visible hooves definitly were ghosts. Namir and Müsli stood there, feet stamped into the ground looking as if they wouldn't belive their eyes anymore. The translucent chestnut laughed again, saying "I'm Daydream! And this is Gravity!" She looked over at her friend, who was even more transparent than she herself. I am quite too stunned to speak, but Khaos thankfully took the conversation over and asked them "What are you?" Gravity and Daydream seem to find that question absolutely hilarous, laughing even more, with Gravity's laugh seeming quite manically. I blink at them, and then at Namir and Astoria. "Are you two Ghosts?" Tried Khaos again, which Gravity nodding as an answer. "Of course we are silly! Or did you see a living horse being transparent and flying before?" Daydream chuckeled at us. "Can you guys help us?? We got lost!" Müsli said with desperation in his voice, which earned him a sneer from Astoria, who was not at all on the page of letting those two ghosts know that we were in trouble. I sigh, waiting for the two ghosts to stop giggling. "Oh yeah of course!! Over there, just on the other side of that field in the distance there, there you will find answers.. It's the community place for lost souls" Daydream beamed at us, smiling widely, showing us the direction with her nose. I look over at my friends, Astoria just shaking her head. "Why should we trust you?" Arctic asked, looking at the girls unsure. They laughed again, and this time the black headed one answered "Well.. does it look like you have a choice?" She laughed loudly, shaking and then looking back at Daydream, as if she wanted to say "Can we finally go? Those idiots are too stupid for me to share my time with." I switch looks with Khaos, wo then responded with "Will you show us the way?" That seemed to be a very funny thing to say for the two ghosts, the black one was laughing, starting to walk into the forest we had just left, while the fluffy chestnut shook herself from laughter, her mane swinging in all directions, and her tail hitting the poor Müsli directly into the face. I thought secretly to myself that the look on his face was indeed quite funny, and he seemed to have bad luck with getting hit into the face. Daydream then started trotting, following behind her friend, turning her head towards us before entering the forest, saying "Oh no, you will have to go alone. But you can't miss it, just walk towards where I pointed! See you on the other side!" she chuckeled, and then the white forest and mist seemed to swallowed them. They just dissapeared. I stare at them, and then at the others who all seemed incredibly schocked. "The.. other side?!" pressed Namir, "That sounds bad, like bad bad!!" I sighed, I couldn't really disagree with that to be honest. "We don't have a different chance," said Astoria, with Arctic nodding slowly.

Drawlloween Promt - Happy Ghosts
Part 4 of the Story "The Fate of the 6"

Once there was a legend, of the Fate of the 6. It was a creepy myth that never got told out loud, as everyone feared bad luck when talking about it openly. It was just a faint whisper in the shadows, scribbled in old notebooks, lingering in the back of people’s heads. Nobody ever dared to bring it closer to reality, to make more out of it than it was: just an old, faint whisper. But what happens when 6 friends are at the wrong time at the wrong place? I fear we will find out very soon...
